Environmentally advanced retirement home
Voves, Martin ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The subject of my master's thesis is the design of an energy-efficient house for the elderly. The building has three floors. The construction system is made of ceramic blocks filled with glass wool. The building is covered with a flat vegetation roof. The retirement home has 15 apartments, a doctor's office, a common dining area, a common room and offices for administration. A technical concept for the building environment was designed for the building. The dining room, office, lounge and doctor's rooms are forcibly ventilated. The premises are divided into three zones and each zone has its own air handling unit. Heating is provided by two condensing gas boilers and the whole building is heated by radiators. An assessment was made for the design of photovoltaic panels. In the third part, an assessment and research of sources for heating and hot water was prepared.
Family house
Dawid, Lukáš ; Gábrová, Lenka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
This project designs a new building of family house. The building is single-store with residental loft with basement. The building has only residential function. It is a brick building (KM BETA SENDWIX) with a gable roof. This project design also the parking lots and pavements.
Residential building in Zlin
Jelínek, Roman ; Sedlák, Radek (referee) ; Benešová, Romana (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to elaborate project documentation for new construction of low-energy residential building with 16 luxury apartments, apartment without barriers and with pharmacy of basic type. It is a four-storey detached building without basement, with flat roof, roof terraces and with balconies. Residential building is located in one of the most enjoyable parts of the city of Zlín – Jižní Svahy II in the vicinity of Central park with bicycle path and with beautiful view of the Zlín. The building will be located on land plot No. 2144/46, where is still situated unfinished building "Torso" from the late 80 years. The residential building is designed in brick system Heluz, ceiling construction is made up of prestressed hollow core slabs, perimeter walls are with external thermal insulation composite system and external doors and windows are made of plastic and aluminum with triple glazing. For heating and water heating will be utilized renewables energy, such as heat pump and solar collectors. Residential units with three residential rooms are designed with a forced ventilation by means of ventilation units with heat recovery. The building also uses modern shielding elements such as outdoor blinds and horizontal sun breakers. The part of the project are also disposition studies, seminar work and energy part.
Possibilities of Cellular Concrete Utility Properties Improvement for Low-Energy Buildings
Neubauerová, Alena ; Ing.Oldřich Dobrý, CSc. (referee) ; Kulísek, Karel (advisor)
Aerated concrete is a modern construction material with excellent thermal – insulation properties with possibility of a fast construction of the building. Moreover we can use secondary raw materials such as fly ash and gypsum during production of aerated concrete, so we save our environment. At present we are trying to save funds for heating the house, so we are looking for suitables materials to cover the requirements for low energy housing. But low – energy buildings wouldn´t be enough for the future. It´s possible now to build passive houses and zero houses, that´s why advances are necessary in improvement of utility properties of building materials, aerated concrete in our case.
The hermit colony
Jakubcová, Eva ; Plaček, Miroslav (referee) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
This construction programme deals with a hermit colony located in the western part of the Vysočina Region. This hermit colony has been established to provide accommodation for women living in this area permanently while offering an opportunity of occasional relaxation for people who are living hectic lives in urban environment. The aim of my project is to design the remaining parts of the colony, i.e. two hermitages and the community’s chapel. A hermitage is a one-storey building intended for one person only. The load-bearing walls of the individual hermitages are designed to be built from different materials (wooden and masonry constructions) whereas the elevational structures of all the buildings are to be the same. The chapel’s wall system combines stone and wood. The chapel will serve solely the purposes of the community. The main objective of my project is to respect and maintain the natural features of the landscape to the maximum extent possible.

Návrh a posouzení konstrukce dřevostavby rodinného domu
Skřivánková, Radka
This work is focused on a design and assessment of construction of wooden building family house. It is a building of frame construction with diffusion open structure of perimeter shell. At the beginning of work is sketch given issue and used construction system. After that are designed possible alternative structures of perimeter wall and its chosen the most eligible option from the point of view thermal technical appraisal. The appraisal is executed from the point of view achieved value thermal transmittance, so it met the requirements low-energies buildings. The chosen structure of perimeter wall is subsequently considered in design of family house.
Návrh kavárny s obytným podkrovím
Němečková, Monika
The aim of the final thesis is to design a café with attic flat for family with four members. Each of these flats have a separate entrance. The café is barrier free. The building is designed as detached house with the form of wooden frame structure with the gable roof. Composition of structures meets the requirements for low energy buildings. For the external constructions is done thermal assessment. The architectural design drawings are supplemented by the necessary detail drawings and manufacturings with technical descriptions. The thesis also includes the comparison of materials used for roofing.
Návrh dvoupodlažní dřevostavby
Filip, Václav
Diploma thesis focuses on design of low energy timber house. House design consists of design documentation for building permission, including engineering report. Structural system is designed and structural assessment of selected elements is made. Design contains solutions of structural compositions and structures of envelope are thermally evaluated in relation to heat insulation requirements.
Návrh dvougeneračního rodinného domu
Lakomý, Michal
The subject of this thesis is to design a two-generation family house, where one part of the house will be two-storey and the second single-storey and barrier-free. Each of these flats will have a separate entrance for reason of privacy. This house is designed by system of frame structure, where is developed the structures for the implementation of wooden house. The architectural design drawings are supplemented by the necessary detail drawings and manufacturing drawings with technical descriptions. The roofing is made in two variants, a gabled and rack roof. One part of the thesis deals with draft pieces of particular designs that meet the requirements for low energy buildings. For the track-layer construction is done thermally technical assessment. The thesis also includes the comparison of therm insulation materials, that are used in the individual constructions. There is prepared an inventory of construction works and supplies with statement of measurements.
